Totsy won’t get my business again

Ok, Totsy, first, tell me you’re going to ship something in 10 to 15 days, and instead take 30 days to ship the item.

Then, send me not only the WRONG item, but an item that would NEVER grace the inside of my house by my choice.

Then, when I check my online invoice compared to the invoice you sent me, see that the mistake definitely was NOT mine and you changed the invoice.

Don’t give any instructions on the packing slip to let me know how to return the item or provide return shipping, and don’t have any live people answering the phone when you give a number to contact. I left my message on an answering machine.

Yes, Totsy, I’m talking about you. When I order an Oakland Athletics elephant mascot, and you send me a piece of crap Red Sox mascot, I’m NOT going to have any kind words for you, sorry. Seriously, you could have sent me ANY other team and I’d probably not be THIS worked up, but don’t send me the mascot for my least favorite team in all of sports, ok?

You just lost a customer for good. Between the shipping time, the screw up in item, and the lack of customer service, we won’t be doing business again.

**Updated** I received an e-mail sent to myself and 13 others stating that Totsy had screwed up and the error was theirs (really?). They would be sending a prepaid mailing label via e-mail for us to return the incorrect item to them. I still have not received this label, AND I don’t appreciate the e-mail being sent without BCC to 14 people. I do appreciate that they are going to rectify this situation, but I still can’t get over the fact that it took a month to receive something I should have had in 2 1/2 weeks, tops.

  2. I am trying to enjoy Totsy, really, I am. But they do make it difficult. I have asked a couple times about getting all my credit put towards one purchase and never get responses. Pretty annoying.

  4. Eeek! I have to agree with Kate…I have a large amount of credit that I can’t use because they have to combine the credit and then by the time they answer my emails and do that, then the sale is gone ;(

    I ordered 3 times and NEVER got the items on time! I saved a lot of money but it was not worth the heart act it gave me waiting on my items.
    also they have the WORST CS!

    I will never do business with this company as well. It has been longer than a month, and I am still waiting for my items. They stopped responding to my e-mails, and I have no idea if I will ever get my items. This site needs to be shut down.

    Tosty is totally shady. I waited over six weeks to get items I ordered on Nov 8 for Christmas gifts for my son, niece, and nephew. Nothing ever arrived. My credit card was charged for everything up front. There is no longer a phone number to call for Totsy. The email service only generates generic responses. I’m challenging the charge with my credit card company.

    One of the other things I bought was a credit with a stationery company for our Christmas Cards. The code was never sent, so I bought my cards elsewhere. I’m still out the money though, for my purchase through Totsy.

    Terrible!

    Interesting to know I’m not the only one that has had a negative experience with Totsy. I ordered 3 rompers for my son this summer who was 4 months at the time. I received them 7 weeks later when we had maybe a week of warm weather left and by that time 1 of them didn’t even fit anymore. I hope they get their act together because they could have a good thing going if they do.
