Keep your pets warm with the Pet-zzz-pad

I hate to say it, but this review is a bummer to write. Not because the product doesn’t work, or we don’t like it – it’s great and we love it. But, because when I was initially approached about reviewing the Pet-zzz-pad, I thought it would be perfect for Fluff, who loved nothing more than sleeping all curled up like a roly-poly in a warm spot.

The pad arrived the day after Fluff passed away.

Fortunately, Tulo agreed to be our tester. You know, twist a cat’s paw and give them a warm spot to sleep and they’ll do almost anything.

The Pet-zzz-pad is pressure activated. It stays plugged in, but only heats up when your pet is lying on it. It’s soft and molds to your pet’s body easily. Once activated, it heats up to 102 degrees to help keep your dog or cat warm and comfy. Have an arthritic pet? This would be great to help soothe and comfort. The pad comes with a removable cover that you can easily wash.

It’s been a hit. Of course, I’d give anything to have Fluff curled up all comfy on it, but Tulo doesn’t seem to mind his role as product tester. He sleeps on it almost every day.

This would be great for those of you with short haired pets, hairless cats, or small animals. It doesn’t matter what climate you live in, pets can still get cold easily and this helps to keep them nice and warm. It doesn’t need to be in a pet bed like we have it, it can sit on the floor, a chair, or on your bed. it just needs to be within cord distance of an electrical outlet.

The Pet-zzz-pad comes in a variety of sizes and retails from $19.99 to $39.99 at Petco.

I received product in exchange for my honest opinion.

I might have to invest in one of these for my cat for Christmas! Lol. Right now my mom and I have both of her cat beds in front of the heat vent so she can stay warm in the winter, and cold in the summer. Lol. $20 isn’t a bad price for a heated bed for a cat. Man, I can’t believe I just said that. Lol.

I’ve had three of these now and they don’t last very long and will quit working after 4-6 months…Don’t buy one…I just had one quit working on me and will find a new one online…There is a reason they are so cheap. Pay up and find something better…These things are great when they are working but they don’t work very long.

  3. Rick says:

You got lucky…I had the small and large ones and they worked well when they worked but none of them worked over six months…Just bought another one on 800-pet meds so I’ll give it a try and hopefully have better luck.

Maybe you work for the company and want to fend off any negative news about the product? I’ve seen it done on many sites.

Absolutely not – I wouldn’t have published your comment in the first place if I wanted to avoid any negative reviews! 🙂

      • Rick says:

Sorry Katie…I thought you might have been an average poster, not the website hostess…My apologies. I still don’t know how I’ve had three of these things go bad on me but I bought a different kind off 1-800-pet meds and we’ll see how that one works out!
