Easy Green Bean Casserole

It’s that time of year for one of my favorite veggie dishes – Green Bean Casserole. Loved by many, loathed by others (like my brother), it’s one of the easiest dishes to make.

What you need

  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 16 oz frozen green beans (thawed)
  • 1 2/3 c French fried onions
  • Preheat oven to 350
Mix milk, pepper, soup together in a bowl. Add beans and 2/3 c onions. Spread into casserole dish and bake for 30 minuntes.

Top baked bean dish with additional french fried onions and bake for 5 more minutes until onions and beans are golden brown.

I generally double this recipe, as this serves 6. You can also create your own variation. Some people add additional mushrooms, 1 tbsp soy sauce, or cayenne pepper.

This is easy as can be, and super yummy! Happy Thanksgiving!
