Before I moved to Colorado, I had never heard of Arbonne, but it seems to be a very popular skin care line here. I have other products that work well for me in those regards, but I recently found out they also carry nutritional supplements including protein shakes, energy fizz tablets, and immunity booster drinks.
Being that I’m working my hardest to get back into shape and get my weight under control (and doing pretty well, thanks), this sounded interesting to me so I was happy to check them out. I received a few different products to try, and I’m happy to say that I really enjoyed them all.
Protein Shakes – Available in both chocolate and vanilla, Arbonne Essentials Protein Shakes deliver 20 grams of vegan protein, plus 20 essential vitamins and minerals per serving. A box of 30 shake packets is $59. They also come in single serve and 12 packs. I tried the chocolate protein shake and it definitely satisfied. I used it as a meal substitute, as it has 20 grams of protein. It kept me full and held me over as well as any other high protein meal would have. (I currently eat a very high protein diet on a regular basis).
Energy Fizz Tabs – Contain natural ingredients to help boost and sustain energy while also helping to control hunger and appetite.* Clinically proven ingredients help increase metabolism. (not evaluated by the FDA) Available in citrus and pomegranate flavors. Each tablet is just 10 calories. I had the citrus tablet. They remind me a lot of Airborne tablets in that you add them to cold water and wait for them to dissolve by fizzing. Great citrus flavor. I can’t say that it specifically controlled hunger and appetite, because as I said I eat a high protein diet which keeps me from having a lot of hunger in the first place. 20 tablets are $29.
Antioxidant & Immunity Booster – A delicious 3 fl. oz. drink shot containing juices from pomegranate, blueberry, acai, grape, cranberry and other known superfruits; infused with powerful antioxidant and immunity ingredients as well as ingredients for energy. Each boost contains as much B12 as 10 eggs and the antioxidant level (ORAC Value) of three apricots, five zucchini, one kiwi, one cup of watermelon and one cup of cucumber. I was skeptical of this. I’m weird with random flavors and consistencies of liquids, and I may have turned up my nose at my first sip – but if you have ever used a 5 hour energy, it’s very similar to the pomegranate flavored one. After my first sip, I continued on and I ended up enjoying it. I’m not sure if I would use this on a regular basis, but that’s based on my weirdness, not the product in general! 24 bottles are $69.
Overall, I was really impressed with the Arbonne nutritional products. I likely would use the fizz tabs on a regular basis, because I liked the flavor of the drink.
