A Pretend Dialogue (please insert correct cat names as I may have them wrong).
Ellis: “Hey, Mom Katie. Do you see my green eyes staring at you?”
Long cat silence here…..
Ellis again: “Do you see poor Vinny over there. He’s so upset he can’t even look at you.”
Mom: “So what’s the problem.”
Vinny: “You’re on the computer too much. You need to go to computer blogger/reviewer’s autonomous PDQ.”
Ellis: “We want our cat massages back, and what are you using your hands and fingers for instead? Those hard little keys on that board that don’t even purr back.”
Vinny: “You hardly ever have the fishes swimming around on that screen anymore.”
Ellis: “What about a bird flying around on that computer thing that I can try and bat at once in awhile?”
Vinny: “Hey, can we talk about the litter box thing too.
It needs to be attended to, as much as your blog, or I’m going to get it real stinky and stink you right out of this house.”
Mom: “Hey, listen here, this computer can travel and if you get the house stinky, well I can go and use it somewhere else.”
Ellis: “No, don’t do that. We miss you when you’re gone, just like we miss you when you’re on it too much.”
Vinny: “Can today just be cats and mom day? I mean, not even take your cat to work day.”
Ellis: “Yea, we’ve already done that take your cat to work day to death already, like seven lives ago.”
Vinny to Ellis: “I wish this thing wasn’t wireless.”
Ellis to Vinny: “Why?”
Ellis: “I’d hide the cord from her. You know I’m good at hiding my toys if I really want to.”
Vinny: “I think she’s too addicted. She’d just go out and buy another cord.”
Ellis: “Ahh, such is the life of Katie’s cats.”
Vinny: “Yep, I think we need to learn to type and start our own blog.”
Ellis: “Purrfect idea.”
They look quite protective of that laptop!
