It’s no secret that I am far from fashionable. I am just as happy as can be in jeans and hoodies. However, my new job requires business casual, so I’m having to reinvent my “style”. I love outfits that can go from day to night easily. Keep in mind, my idea of “night” is a Friday night out with friends at Toby Keith’s or our favorite brewpub. We’re not super fancy here. I’m a big fan of tunics, leggings and boots these days.
Keeping that in mind, here are two pieces from Ice that fit well with my lifestyle.
The colored stainless steel flower cuff by Tattooed Steel is whimsical and goes well with almost any solid top. Practical with a nice sweater and linen pants, or a bright colored tunic and leggings, it works well at the office or happy hour with friends. Its funky style will draw attention to it, but it’s not so overpowering that it dominates your outfit.
Something else I love to add to an outfit is a funky right hand ring like this 1 5/8 carat pink & white sapphire sterling silver ring. I admit, I wear a lot of pink – I’m a little bit girly. But I also will wear charcoal grey, black, and heather grey quite frequently, so a burst of color is kind of fun to put a little spark in an otherwise colorless outfit. It’s not over the top, but I love the pinks and how much it sparkles!
Those are just two of my favorite pieces of jewelry from Ice.
