Let’s face it, no matter how hard we try, our kids are touching everything they can get their hands on from sun up to sun down. For every icky thing you stop them from poking and prodding, there are at least 3 other things they manage to touch. As parents, we can’t keep our eyes on our kids every moment of the day. Because of this, washing hands is the single most important thing we can do to help prevent the spread of germs and diseases. SoapTime soaps help make washing hands fun!
There are 3 different 8.4 fl oz bottles of SoapTime soaps, each with a different theme. Theme? Yep, the bottles get placed on a base and with each pump of soap, 20 seconds worth of music or lessons, along with a light show, play while your child washes their hands. The goal is to teach your child the importance of washing thoroughly. If they wash for the duration of the recording, they will have achieved adequate wash time!
The green bottle of soap focuses on the Earth and nature. The yellow building blocks bottle focuses on language (how to say “hello” and “goodbye” in French, Spanish and Chinese!), and the purple elephant shaped bottle addresses the wild kingdom. Each story is narrated by Professor GoodHabits, and the music is written and performed by Brian Vander Ark of the Verve Pipe.
Is the music too much for you (or does your husband sometimes use that bathroom in the middle of the night?) you can flip the switch to turn the music off and only enjoy a light show. (I hear this is still startling sometimes when you’re not expecting it at 2am!)
