I’m not in the mood to blog. I have nothing of huge substance which to report. Well, I have plenty of reviews that I could be doing but I can’t summon the motivation to do so. Maybe tomorrow. Maybe not.
I was supposed to dog sit tomorrow night through Sunday night, but it got canceled. While the money would be nice, I don’t mind. I like my own bed. And the dog I would have been sitting for barks all. night. long.
Nine days til we head to Minnesota! I’m so excited! So many plans. See family, see friends, State Fair, Twins game, good food. You name it. Thankfully my mother-in-law will be watching the cats so we don’t have to leave them alone. I think Helton would make the trip fine, but the other two – ESPECIALLY Tulo – wouldn’t make it to the Colorado border. I don’t think my brother would be too pleased if we showed up at his door with a cat, though.
Sunday I’ve organized a Colorado Rockies TweetUp. What’s a TweetUp? Well, it’s a meet up of people who tweet about a certain subject. So, this will be a bunch of Rockies fans. If you’re local and a Rockies fan and want to join us, it’s at 2pm at Breckenridge Brewery at 22nd and Blake in LoDo. There will be beer specials, and the Rockies are going to have goodies for us, too.
Speaking of the Rockies, they’re really stinking it up lately. But I still love watching them. I’d love to go to a game next week for our anniversary. Maybe if we can get a sitter.
Next Thursday is our 4th wedding anniversary. Time flies!
Brett Favre is a Viking. Color me shocked. I still hate him, even if he plays for my favorite team.
I quit my 2nd job today. Out of 4. Five, if you consider the blog, which is definitely a job. This was a PRN position with a home health agency. I’ve worked for them for about 2 1/2 years. I still work PRN for a nursing home, which I’m doing this week for about 15 hours. I also work sporadically doing overnight dog sits (maybe 3 nights every 2 or 3 months).
Violet’s birthday is all done. We’re having a BBQ (as long as our grill is working, I’d better check on that). I’m trying to decide if I want to do a Sesame Street theme (she loves Elmo) or a Paul Frank theme (she also loves monkeys). Spongebob is an option as well.
It’s 9:12 pm and I’m exhausted. I think I’m heading to bed. Sweet dreams, everyone!

You did a great blog right here and now for not being in the mood.
Everybody needs to take a break from it once in a while. Maybe
you’ll have more energy for it since decreasing the number of
places you’ve been working. You need time to enjoy life too, not
just working. Though I understand sometimes money is needed for
the life things too.
I actually think cats do long car rides better than dogs in my opinion.
I grew up with cats and now married we have dogs. Comparing
the two species I feel cats are better at longer car rides. Though
Minnesota from Colorado is probably too long for either unless
you had a massive RV to let them roam around in and to have a
litter box in and a potty patch potty in.
Well, when you go have a safe and blessed trip, oh and a fun one
too.
