As I mentioned in a post a few days ago, one of the ways we are trying to lessen our carbon footprint on the Earth is by using compact fluorescent lightbulbs (CFLs). Now there is an even better CFL out there to help even your own immediate environment – the New Ionic Bulb.
The Ionic Bulb works not only to save 75% of your energy costs per bulb used, but also helps clear dust, pollen, smoke, allergens and pet dander within a 100 square foot area. The negative ions in the bulb help remove airborne pollutants and odors, making stale indoor air as fresh and healthy as outdoor air.
The bulbs are 23 watt which is the equivalent of a 100 watt light bulb. It will last at least 7 times as long as a standard light bulb.
We are currently using our bulb in Violet’s room to help keep the air quality better for her. We have three cats, so we are always dealing with pet dander. Obviously we can’t SEE the difference the Ionic Bulb makes, but I feel much better knowing that it is there in her bedroom, which is about 100 square feet, making a difference.

The things that makes me mad is, in our house, the wiring is from the early 90′s and it does NOT like using these types of lightbulbs on the ceiling fans! Makes me so mad! I use CFLs on all the lamps, but they were breaking our circuits on the fans. It literally burns me everytime I have to look up and see ‘regular’ lights.

Anthropologic global warming has been so disproved it is absurd to even mention. I feel embarrassed for people that think global warming is caused by carbon released through human actions. The IPCC has been discredited through both the University of East Anglia’s hacked e-mails and also that of the petition signed by over 30,000 scientists.
CO2 global warming is nothing but a world-wide tax. Wake up.
Don’t get me wrong, I am all for energy efficiency and using less fossil fuels — all of my lights are energy efficient — but CO2 causing global warming is a hoax.
You may have a problem with power surges, call your local electrician they may find a solution to your problem at a low cost.
I have been using the Ionic Bulbs for more than a year. Could not be happier with the product.
