KinArt Diaper Bag | Review

Just like with handbags, a mom needs to have an army of diaper bags that serve different needs. I have two designer ones (one which has more “cargo” space than the other), a rugged one, and KinArt provided me with the bag that holds everything but the kitchen sink.

Based in San Francisco, KinArt is a division of Armapac, focused on creating innovative parental products with combination of style and function for modern parents. KinArt has a nice selection of diaper bags to choose from including messenger, backpack, and lightweight bags. Each of them have plenty of space and are highly functional.

The bag which I received to review is the Modern Elegant in black. This bag is seriously the grand-daddy of diaper bags.

What do I love about this bag? Where do I start…

There is SO much room in the bag! I’m pretty sure I could fit as much into the bag as I could into a carry-on bag for a flight. The center compartment fits a TON. I can easily fit cloth diapers, a wet bag and wipes in there with TONS of room to spare. The outer two compartments have a great amount of space as well. One of the outer pockets has a cell phone compartment and slots for credit cards. I really like that it comes with a designated first aid kit. That’s something that none of my bags have. There are adequate bottle holders and the thermal bottle holder is great for longer trips to keep milk cold. I also like that it comes with a changing pad. The hidden compartment on the bottom of the bag for soiled clothing is perfect. It can easily hold my cloth diaper wet bag so that it doesn’t have to take up space in the middle compartment if I don’t want it to.

The other day, I used the bag for an outing and this is what it contained:
my wallet, cell phone & keys
3 cloth diapers, wipes & the wet bag
coloring book & colors
iPad
bouncy ball (6″ in diameter)
sippy cup & bib
medium sized stuffed animal
3 magazines
my water bottle (40 oz)

This brings up the ONLY negative I can think of for this bag: it holds SO much that it can be too heavy to carry sometimes!

This is a great bag if you have a ton you need to lug around. It has lots of “extras” that my other bags don’t have that are really nice. And, at $90, it’s priced practically as well. This would probably be a great bag for a mom of more than one child since it fits SO much!

I received the KinArt Modern Diaper Bag for the purposes of this review.
