I’m not here right now. I’m waking up at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, CO with my husband. My daughter is at her grandma’s house. Yep. I made reservations for the night before Mother’s Day, not realizing it was Mother’s Day weekend. Great job. But, we’ll be heading back down to Denver (about an hour and 20 minute drive) by mid-morning so that I can spend the rest of the day with my daughter and husband.
I don’t know what we’ll do, perhaps get lunch together and then watch some baseball or head to the park if the weather is ok. The weather is supposed to be pretty dreadful this weekend. We’ll call my mom, and of course we’ll see my husband’s mom when we pick Violet up. Perhaps we’ll stay there and grill out. I don’t know.
I have a massage and pedicure appointment for Monday night. My yoga studio is having a special (day after) Mother’s Day event. My massage will only be 30 minutes as opposed to my normal hour, but that’s better than nothing.
I hope all of you that are mothers have a wonderful Mother’s Day – what are you doing to celebrate?

I LOVE Estes Park. It’s so gorgeous up there. Have a great weekend
I hope you’re having a great time–the massage and pedicure sound like the perfect way to treat yourself!
