Go see BRAVE. It’s awesome.

Violet and I had the privilege of going to a screening of Brave this past Wednesday before it opened to the public today. I can honestly say that it’s my favorite Disney “princess” movie. Partially because the world needs more curly haired redheaded heroines, but mostly because she didn’t need a prince. She was a strong, independent girl who wanted to make her own decisions and decide her own fate. It sends a WONDERFUL message to girls.

Prior to the screening, we had entertainment from a local Scottish group complete with bagpipes, traditional garb, and dancers along with a brief history lesson.

I highly suggest this movie, especially for those of you with girls. Besides being cute, funny, and entertaining, it sends such a positive message to girls.

Here are a few clips to pique your interest!

Go see it. Then tell me if you loved it as much as I did!

I so cannot wait to see this. I’m glad to see Disney making a movie about a Princess who isn’t like all the rest. This is my type of girl. ;)
