Seriously. We’re halfway through May? Next week is my daughter’s last week of kindergarten. It seems like I was just taking her to baseball games as a baby. Now she’s getting ready to start playing T-ball herself. In a related tangent, we have baseball tickets this weekend. Anyway, this week I’ve got a few new random loves.
Once Upon a Time – I just started watching this show because my friend texted me and said that I NEEDED to watch it I knew the basic premise, but I just never tuned in because baseball. And life. And I don’t watch a lot of TV. But hey, the first two seasons are on Netflix, so why not? So now I’m hooked. I love all tings Disney, so I’m not really sure why I never watched this to begin with. But yeah, she was right, I NEEDED to watch it. And I’m glad I started. The only problem with starting to watch a series on Netflix is that you don’t know how to stop yourself sometimes *yawn 1am*
Cartwheel by Target – If you’re not using Cartwheel by Target, you need to start. Now. Target is my favorite store and I, like most, love to save money. Cartwheel is a super awesome app where you can add coupons to your phone. They really add up! I’ve already saved about $270 over the past 9 months or so by using the app. They stack coupons on top of things that are in the weekly ad, plus have random other coupons for up to 40% off of certain items. Combine it with using your Red Card and you can really save. The more you use Cartwheel, the more you are able to use it – meaning that you unlock more coupon slots as you use them. I’m up to 24 now, I think. When you begin, you have 10 slots. It’s just another reason to shop at Target!
Dunkin’ Donuts Vanilla Chai – Yep. I’m the weirdo who doesn’t like Dunkin’ Donuts coffee. I don’t think it’s anything special. Honestly, I’m not a huge fan of their donuts, either, and I love donuts. They just seem to go stale super quickly compared to other donuts I’ve had (I’m looking at you, Voodoo Doughnuts!). But give me a Vanilla Chai from DD, and I’m a happy girl. Our weather here has been chilly lately, so a nice warm chai in the morning still helps me to get going. I’ll lay off them in the summer, but I’m happy to have them now!
