Freschetta Pizza – Review & Giveaway

Do you know what one of the criteria was when searching for our new refrigerator? There had to be room for frozen pizza. My husband, left to his own devices, could exist solely on frozen pizza. Thankfully we found a great side by side refrigerator that has a separate compartment JUST for frozen pizzas.

When the opportunity to try Freschetta FlatBread came about, ~~my husband~~ I jumped at it. Since Scott eats frozen pizza a minimum of once a week, I knew this would be a hit with him.

We got the Zesty Italian FlatBread pizza and Scott, a carnivore, was in heaven. It comes with pepperoni, sausage, Genoa salami, mozzarella and asiago cheeses. He is not usually a fan of thinner crusted pizzas (did I ever blog about the time I had an anxiety attack over thin crust pizza? It was awesome. In that “I had an anxiety attack over PIZZA” way) but he said that this crust was a little lighter than your usual thin crust pizza. He was pleased with the amount of toppings that came on the pizza as well. There was plenty of meat and just the right combination of cheese and spicy marinara sauce. Violet got to have a small slice for dinner, but that’s all Scott would share. She ate it up, though. She even ate the pepperoni, which I didn’t think she would.

Besides the Zesty Italian, the Freschetta FlatBread pizzas come in Roasted Garlic and Spinach (which would be my choice, if I ever got to choose a frozen pizza), Pepperoni and 5-Cheese.
