Brownie Groundhog and the February Fox | Book Review

Brownie Groundhog and the February Fox by Susan Blackaby, illustrated by Carmen Segovia is a new release from Sterling Publishing.

It’s a fun story combining Groundhog’s day and a tale of a tricky fox. Groundhog’s day arrives and Brownie comes out to look for her shadow. When she does, she meets a hungry fox. The fox is looking for a tasty meal of groundhog!

As the story continues, we see Brownie Groundhog trick the clever fox and satisfy his appetite while keeping herself safe. By the end of the book, they have become great friends and wait for the winter to end together.

This book is recommended for children over three, but my 2 year old loved it. She loves foxes, so she was quickly enthralled with the book.

The book retails for $14.95 US/$19.50 Canada.

I was provided with a complimentary copy for the purpose of this review. The opinions in the review are mine alone.
