I am always on the lookout for new snacks both to serve to my daughter, and for me as well. I have a few criteria – no HFCS, low cal/low fat, low sugar, and organic if possible. Bare Fruit cinnamon apple chips meets and exceeds my criteria.
Know what’s in them? Organic apples and organic cinnamon. That’s it. No added sugar, no preservatives, and gluten free. If you’re doing Weight Watchers, like I am, it’s 2 points per serving, which is ~ 1 ounce (though I find it hard to stick to one serving because they’re THAT good).

They’re baked. That’s it. Nothing added, nothing taken away. And they’re better than any potato chips, gummy bears or chocolate snacks you could feed your kids.
Besides the cinnamon apple chips, Bare Fruit also sells dried cherries, dried mangoes, dried pears and granny smith & fuji apple chips. All of them meet the same criteria – organic, no added sugars or preservatives and gluten free.
They’re easy to find at most all grocery stores (both natural and big box stores) as well as in their online store through Amazon.com and Alice. They are a little pricey but WELL worth the cost (a 14 oz bag of cinnamon apple chips is $8.99).

Do you know if they share a factory with peanuts, oats, or rice? Apples is one of my little one’s very few safe foods and we haven’t heard of this, yet!

The bag doesn’t have any labeling saying it’s produced in a factory with any of the above, but I would contact them to be sure.
Wow, those sound really good. I love the touch of cinnamon to make them even better.
