It saddens me to say that a vast majority of women have read 50 Shades of Grey. Now, I’m by no means a literature snob, but seriously… that series was HORRIBLE. Like, if it didn’t include the sex scenes, I would have thought a 12 year old wrote it. I know, I know, the author originally wrote it to be fan fiction and got a book deal – but seriously, there is NOTHING about the book that I can give a positive review of. I mean, how do you dress up a book that romanticizes a woman being in a controlling S&M relationship? You don’t.
One of the (many) annoying parts of the book was when Christian (Grey) would tell Ana to stop biting her lip because it turned him on.
For reals?
I tried biting my lip in as many different ways as I could figure out, and I promise you, Mr. 50 Shades of Grey has no clue what sexy is, because it sure ain’t sexy.

O.M.G. you are hilarious! Confession: I just started reading it… not got to anything remotely sexy yet, but I caved. I did love Anne Rice’s Sleeping Beauty Series… don’t think this book will compare though. And, I did have a guy once tell me that my biting my lips turned him on. LOL!

I think that in a book about S&M, the biting of the lip probably turns the guy on because she’s BITING. Biting = pain. Just my guess, I haven’t bothered to read the books. (trying really hard to not judge people who did LOL)
